Pacijan Island

Pacijan Island is one of the islands of the province of Cebu, in the Philippines. Also known as Pajican Island[1], it is one of the four islands in the Camotes island group of Cebu - along with Poro Island, Ponson Island, and Tulang Island. They are located east of the main island of Cebu, west of Leyte Island, and north of Bohol Island.

San Francisco is the sole municipality in the island. A 1.4 Km (0.9 mi) causeway connects the island of Pacijan to Poro Island. It was constructed by the people of San Francisco during the Spanish era, to bridge the islands for easier trading and attending Church services in Poro Church, the oldest in the Camotes.[2]
